Appears that they are proceeding along with items covered Proposal(s) 4 and / or 5? Without any announcement about the outcome of the other Proposals?

It’s so ridiculous that this happened. This board is obviously only in it for there compensation by diluting shareholders. Do people have contacts with other activist on this shit show. Think showing the long term opportunity set with a rookie board could bring some activist insight to keep the value and stock price where it needs to go.

Doesn’t it benefit shareholders for management to have an equity stake over salary? This wasn’t possible a year ago. It aligns interests, no?

If management had done something to EARN those shares then, fine. But all the schlubs did was buy a jet.

Firstly, it’s not a jet. Need to stop repeating false claims. Its a turboprop and it actually makes sense given the size of the land..The shares will vest. A share plan cannot be worse than paying salary..

Logistics to do what? Fly to Pecos or Carlsbad to watch the pump jacks go up and down. It’s not like they have big plans. Because if they do it had not been told to shareholders.
And how about all those share buy backs? Paid for with shareholder money. Now there is a new share offering to compensate management? Seems the buy backs got pi$$ed away but the $$ for the new shares flows to the corporate leadership. If you can call the schlubs in charge leaders.

B.A.M, understandable given yesterdays poor show. But there is a reasonable thesis that oil prices are going higher from here. Potentially much higher and that those prices could last longer than anyone wants. Exploration has been severely curtailed and domestic producers are fearful to invest in the current political climate.
Even with bad or dare say corrupt management, people holding on to real assets may do very well in the coming years. There are few investments that stand to benefit from inflation/higher interest rates, but TPL may be one of them (esp if some theorists are correct that this is an energy inflation more than anything else).
Better to get Dana out, put pressure on the boards nomination committee to give us real options and see if MS and Oliver can deliver a better run company. Nobody should have expected to get rid of Barry and Norris in the first year. Good luck to you and hopefully you will regret this move (for my sake).
