  1. Next stop S&P 500!! The inflows on this addition combined with the expected inclusion in the S&P 500 will lead TPL to have a GameStop type explosion as ETFs try to buy in at the same time

  2. Forgive my ignorance on this, but can you only be a member of one? Or if you’re in the Russ1000 that means you are automatically also in the Russ2000 as well as Russ3000. Thanks.

    Seems like this could be a pretty big step in a new direction and really change the fundementals of how this stock is traded going forward… both in terms of ownership (ETF’s and MF’s) and daily volume. Perhaps a split not too far behind?

    • I believe the Russell 1000 is the largest 1000 per Russell. The 2k is the next 2000 largest. Together they make the russell 3000. 1000 and 2000 constituents are mutually exclusive and they are both in the 3000.
