Sidley Represents Texas Pacific Land Trust in Settlement of Proxy Contest and Lawsuit

Sidley represented Texas Pacific Land Trust (NYSE: TPL) in its agreement to settle its litigation and proxy contest with an investor group led by Horizon Kinetics.

Sidley’s proxy contest team was led by partners Kai Haakon Liekefett and Holly Gregory and included associates Reuben Zaramian, Chris Porcelli, Sagar Sritharan and Philipp Nuernberger.   1. A great law firm that charges top dollar. I guess that the trustees don’t care about spending shareholder money when it isn’t their money. Will be interested to see the quarterly financial statements.
