In trying to ignore shareholder proposals.
https://www.sec.gov/corpfin/2022-2023-shareholder-proposals-no-action?
The SEC can not concur that there is good enough reason to exclude proposals that 1) require categorizing share authorizations as something other than routine and 2) prohibit golden parachutes.
Both are good protections for shareholders. I can’t wait to vote on them.
Will a meeting ever be announced?
With Barry&Norris leaving, the big question becomes what do we make of the remainers on the board.
Blog readers know that tpl hates shareholders so it will be telling to see how the proxy comes out on these issues. If board advise against these stockholders, then General Don and his bloc are showing that they are more of same bad directors. The grift runs deep, so maybe are forever blind to what real leadership means.
If board of director’s advice is to vote against these proposals, then we learn that General is dumber than we think. And Horizon&Softvest still not in control.

Remember the I-sue twins are still voting members of and chairing the TPL BOD until after the 2023 Annual Meeting. I don’t agree with your suggestion of who is in control.

One has to wonder why the case in front of Judge Laster has not been withdrawn. The only reason I can think of is the old guard still has something up their sleeves they want to do, and the General and crew are not looking forward but still hoping to support things the shareholder do not want. Can cases be withdrawn at this stage?
